The company is now headed by Paul Martin and Peter Hodgson as Joint Managing Directors. Paul is responsible for Group Sales/Development and Peter Group Operations.
Paul joined the Reynolds Credit Insurance Division in 1990 following completion of a Business and Finance course. Since then he has spent the majority of his time in Sales Development, more recently known for his specialism in Oil, Chemical and related industries.
Peter joined the company as part of the management buy out team in 2004 from a multinational broker where he was a Branch Director of the Trade Credit division. Peter has been working in Credit Insurance since 1984 and prior to his Branch Director role spent time in Account Management, Sales Development and as part of a Multinational team involved in major group insurance programmes travelling extensively overseas.
Martin Davey is Director of the Credit Insurance Division. Martin joined an export credit insurer after leaving college in 1980 and for the first ten years of his career specialized in this form of insurance. During this time Martin worked as a buyer-risk underwriter but latterly was employed within the claims department, primarily in the area of risk minimization and debt recovery. Following a valuable two year spell with an international broking company Martin joined Reynolds in 1992.
Our Commercial and Personal Divisions are headed by Alex Robertson and supported by Mark Jaworski, both are Directors.
Alex commenced his insurance career with a major broker in 1961 specialising in motor and personal lines insurance becoming a Branch Manager. He has been with Reynolds since 1969 dealing with all types of General and Personal insurances now specialising in Commercial Risks.
Mark spent 13 years as an underwriter with a major insurance company; he left in 1978 to set up his own broking firm and in 2002 merged that business with Reynolds. He is a qualified Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has been a member of the Council of the Insurance Institute as well as a part time tutor.
